Join Julie Harrison for a creative Christmas workshop and learn to paint your own wooden ornaments and holiday gift tags.
Come along or invite 5 of your besties to enjoy a fun, festive creative Christmas workshop. These small, intimate workshops are meant to be low key, no pressure, and packed with colour. Plus getting in the Christmas spirit, making something with your hands, slowing down and having great chats with your fellow workshop buddies. I’ll share with you my tips and tricks for working with acrylic paint pens on different surfaces such as wood, and kraft paper. I’m bringing all the colourful acrylic paint pens (a few brands to play with), and lots of glitter tape.
Whilst the workshop is being held in the workshop room at The Collective Store in Wynnum, this creative Christmas workshop is run by me, Julie Harrison of Pattern Play Studio. I’m a professional graphic designer and licensed artist with a big love of pattern, print, colour and Christmas!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Group size: 6 (Adults) No children under 18 years of age (at this stage).
Skill level: Beginner
Duration: 2.5 hours
Materials: All in-class materials included. Wooden ornaments, ribbon, kraft card gift tags, acrylic paint pens, brushes and embellishments., worksheets and creative Christmas inspiration.

Classes are strictly limited to 6 Adults, so grab your spot before they’re gone!
Time: 10:00am sharp - 12:30pm.
It is my aim to teach you a few designs, offering worksheets and instructions, best practice, and endless encouragement, but you are not restricted to what I have designed. This is a fun workshop where you can be creative and paint your own ideas. 3 wooden ornaments will be provided and 6 gift tags. We will be using a variety of acrylic paint pens, glitter washi tape, ribbon and bells. Should you not finish all your design work on the materials included within the allocated 2.5 hours, Julie will provide a resource list where you can purchase affordable art supplies to complete your projects in your own time at home. The workshop space is rented so the sessions strictly run for 2.5 hours.
Meeting place: Please meet at The Collective Store out the front of the shop and Julie will show you through to the workshop space.

Food and drink Policy:
Water is provided. Hot drinks such as tea, coffee or hot chocolate may be purchased separately through our fantastic neighbours: Little Gnome Bookstore or Bannette.
Cancellation policy:
If you need to cancel your workshop spot, please provide 48 hours (2 days notice) if possible and contact Julie via the contact page on this website. I understand life circumstances happen, so please get in touch with me as soon as possible to discuss.
A full refund will be provided if 48 hours (2 days notice period) from the date/time of the workshop session is followed. If an alternative workshop date is more suitable for you and you need to change your booking, and if there is space available, I am happy to change you to the new workshop date.
